On November 7, 2024, a doughnut-making workshop took place in the college's bakery, fully equipped with all the necessary baking tools. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students across various streams. Participants were divided into small groups, each provided with the ingredients and equipment needed to create their own batch of doughnuts.

The workshop provided an excellent learning opportunity for students, offering valuable insights into various card-making techniques. Participants were shown innovative ways to decorate cards using materials like stickers, ribbons, lace, glazed paper, beads, paints, glitter powder, sequins, and more.

CTIHS and SSW organized an AD Mad Show on September 19, 2024. The event aimed to uncover students' hidden creative and persuasive talents while enhancing their marketing skills. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from various teams across the institute.

A talk show was conducted in the IELTS class, where students showcased their communication skills on pre-assigned topics. The participants performed with great zeal and enthusiasm, demonstrating their ability to express ideas effectively and engage the audience. An interactive session was organized on 27th Nov.,2024 for students of classes 11 and 12, focusing on tying a tie and effectively communicating about their institute. The activity aimed to teach a practical life skill—mastering the art of tying a tie—while boosting students' confidence and grooming etiquette.

SSW organized a session with CT Global Education for students across various streams. The session highlighted diverse global education opportunities, providing valuable insights into studying abroad and international academic prospects.

SSW organised a workshop on Physiotherapy for the students of various streams. The physiotherapy workshop offered students a chance to engage with esteemed professionals in the field. UNLEASH YOUR INNER ARTIST: An art activity was conducted encouraging creativity and artistic expression among students, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of learning and imagination.

NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DAY CELEBRATION: National Technology Day was celebrated with engaging activities and insightful discussions, inspiring students towards innovation and technological advancement.

WORLD ENERGY CONSERVATION DAY CELEBRATION: World Energy Conservation Day was celebrated to sensitize students about energy conservation and minimizing wastage. Various activities such as quizzes, poster making, extempore speeches, and PowerPoint presentations were organized.

NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY CELEBRATION: The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics." Students of CT Institute of Higher Studies Sr. Sec. Wing, Shahpur, celebrated "National Mathematics Day" on December 22, 2023. Various activities such as quizzes, poster making, extempore speeches, and mathematical tricks were conducted.

FUN WITH MATHEMATICS: A fun learning environment encourages students to approach problems with a positive mind set. When they associate mathematics with enjoyment, they are more likely to develop the critical thinking skills necessary for breaking down complex problems. With this aim, a 'Fun with Mathematics' activity was organized.

SPECIAL WORKSHOP REGARDING ABROAD SERVICES: Ms. Anukiran from Spynmark conducted a special workshop on abroad services, providing valuable insights into international education and career opportunities. Her expert guidance and practical tips left the attendees well-informed and inspired to explore global prospects.

The Gidha performance at Virasat-e-hind event Berry’s Global School was a dazzling display of traditional Punjabi culture, captivating the audience with its vibrant energy and rhythmic dance moves. The performers, adorned in colourful attire, showcased their impeccable synchronization and infectious enthusiasm, earning thunderous applause and won prize also.

PARTICIPATION IN MELA TIAN DA CELEBRATION 2023: Students participated in the Mela Tian Da Celebration 2023, performing various cultural acts in the esteemed presence of Hon'ble MLA Nakodar Madam Inderjit Kaur Maan Ji. Their performances, filled with enthusiasm and talent, were highly appreciated and added vibrancy to the event.

KAVITA GAYAN AND RANGOLI COMPETITION IN DR JAIN SCHOOL JAL CANTT: Students shined in the inter-school competition at Dr. Jain School, Jal Cantt, winning accolades in both the Kavita Gayan and Rangoli categories. Their exceptional creativity and poetic talent were celebrated, bringing pride to their school.

TREE PLANTATION DURING ENVIRONMENT DAY 2023: During Environment Day 2023, students and staff enthusiastically participated in a tree plantation drive, planting numerous saplings across the campus. This green initiative aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and promote a sustainable future.

Hindi Diwas: CTIHS SSW Celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th September 2024, The event aimed to raise awareness about Hindi as one of India's official languages and encourage students to engage in various Hindi language-related activities, including poem recitations and essays.

Workshop on PC Assembly: Workshop was Conducted on 8 November in which the participants gained hands on experience in PC Assembly, from Component Identification to installation and Troubleshooting. The introduction to Computer Networking Equipped them with essential networking skills, understanding connectivity setup and securing network. Participants appreciated the hands-on learning approach and expressed interest in advanced sessions on networking Protocols

Workshop on Camera Handling: A work-shop conducted by the Faculty of Journalism & Mass Communication at JMC Studio on 11 November for students of +1 & +2 SSW. Students get to know about practical exposure of Camera Handling, its features, and basics of Tripod settings as well as how to handle teleprompter. Students also engaged themselves in professional Anchoring during workshop.

Workshop on Tie & Dye: Tie and Dye Workshop for Students of collegiate was conducted on 7th November 2024. This workshop aimed to introduce students to the basics of fashion design and encourage creativity and design concepts. The students learned practical skills such as fabric selection and color theory. They practiced selecting fabrics to suit specific designs. The students were highly engaged, showing enthusiasm and creativity throughout the sessions. The students gain practical knowledge and showcase their designs

The workshop aimed to introduce higher secondary students (+1 and +2) to Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and their benefits in enhancing learning opportunities, building skills, and preparing for future academic and professional endeavors. The workshop was very informative and opened up a new way of learning for the students.

The session offered valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of AI and its real-world applications. Experts highlighted how AI is transforming industries and reshaping the future of technology. Students gained enhanced awareness and inspiration to explore emerging tech-driven career paths.

An interactive session for fresher students was conducted on the importance of co-curricular activities. The session emphasized how such activities play a vital role in developing a well-rounded personality. Students were encouraged to participate actively for personal growth and skill enhancement. The session also highlighted how co-curricular involvement boosts confidence and career prospects.

An exciting "Indoor Games" event was organised for students. The event featured games like chess, carom, and table tennis, promoting fun and friendly competition. A workshop on camera handling and front-facing photography was conducted for SSW students. The session provided hands-on training in using professional cameras and capturing portraits effectively. Students learned key techniques like lighting, angles, and focus for better visual storytelling. The workshop enhanced practical skills and encouraged creativity in photography enthusiasts.

A “Motivational Video Session” for SSW students was organised. The session aimed to inspire and instil a positive attitude among the youth. Students actively participated and reflected on key messages of growth and resilience. It was a part of the institute’s on-going efforts toward holistic student development.
